Hi there! Sana here!
I'm a 20 year old Scottish quine. I have a twin (I'm 8 minutes younger) but people usually question whether we're sisters or not. She's a short brunette, I'm a slightly taller red head. She's sciencey, I'm artsy. We look and are nothing like one another except for our eyes and noses. We both have the Tait nose. I have an older sister who is a missionary in Panama with her husband and children. My mam and dad have been married for over 35 years and I'm not sure what either of them do for a living. My ideal day would involve reading a really good book with an endless cup of coffee. The book would probably have a bit of romance in it. I'm a bit of a sucker for a fairytale ending, if we're being honest.
I was brought up in a Christian home in the North East of Scotland in a seaside town and attended the Gospel Hall with my family. I was saved when I was 8, baptised at 13 and came into fellowship when I was 17. I left home at 18 to study Literature and Linguistics at the University of Aberdeen and am in fellowship with a wonderful assembly there.
I have no idea what I want to do after university other than write a book, someday! If we're honest, it probably wont make it to shelves any time soon. There's always publishing or a kooky little library somewhere that I'd be very comfortable working in, otherwise we'll just have to see where the lord takes me. He took my big sister to Panama so the sky is quite definitely the limit. Or not? Nevertheless I'd try to blog about it!
While this blog will primaily focus on faith and that of my spiritual life, expect some nuggets of other experiences which I will love to share with you all! I love learning about new and interesting things; and I love being creative! Whether I'm just doodling or painting, or binging on Pinterest!
I have recently been burdened with the fact that I'm shy to talk about my faith with non believers face to face. I pray for opportunities to arise where I can tell someone about the Lord Jesus with great knowledge and conviction and enthusiasm! Those who know me would be able to tell you that I do NOT lack any enthusiasm, but when it comes to telling others about Christ, I always feel incredibly inexperienced and chicken out because of the fear of getting it all completely wrong!
This blog is my solution.
It is my wish that I will strengthen myself spiritually by keeping myself acountable in my studies and my relationship with God. I have a lot to learn but also a lot to share! I would love to help out anyone struggling or just looking for a chat. Feel free to comment on any post and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
I'll hope you'll stick around on this journey with me.
